Stephanie from Sweetheart Events contacted me about a style shoot she was wanting to put together focusing on our little ones at weddings since they need to be busy and having fun all through the day. I thought this was a fabulous idea for her to put some things together to make the kids feel super special and included on your special day. These ideas are perfect for indoor and outdoor weddings as you can incorporate them in any space. With success from this shoot we were accepted by Style Me Pretty Canada to publish Stephanie’s shoot online! I had the most fantastic time planning, decorating and coordinating the wedding of Katie and Ethan. Not only do they have the most loving family but their love for each other is so strong. Katie and Ethan did a DIY wedding with the help of family friends and myself bringing their vision to life the day of their wedding. With her ideas we completely transformed the look of the Law Courts Restaurant into a vintage theme with stunning mirrors, hanging lights and bunting flags, old photos, tea cups and wood elements. Thank you to Matt Somerville for capturing the love and laughter of their special day and thank you to Katie and Ethan for having Flowerella be able to experience your special day, we will never forget it!

Dane and Monty had been together for 5 years all through school and were wanting to take the next step together. Working with Monty was a dream; she was organized; knew what she wanted; and had no expectations. My favourite elements were watching Dane see Monterey for the first time while she walked down the aisle, and hearing him express his feelings through his vows for her. The stunning scenery of the winery and the lake in the background tied everything together.

Maddy and Cody’s wedding day was one of the days I could not wait to arrive! I was so excited to work with them and to do a wedding at their choice of venue, Zajac Ranch. They both have a passion for dirt biking and absolutely love the outdoors, so what better place to have your wedding but at a summer camp venue in the middle of no where? Crazy right? It was absolutely stunning! Working with Maddy was a wedding planner’s dream, she was open to all ideas and was excited about every detail. They held their ceremony in the camp outdoor auditorium and entered their reception on horseback. The day went off without a hitch and ended with a big bonfire in the camp pit, talk about a nice end to the night with all of your friends and family.
